This weekend we have had Rob's dad and his wife up from Hermiston, Oregon. We hadn't seen them in nearly a year, so we were glad for an opportunity to visit. They aren't big city people at all, so Seattle is a bit intimidating...especially the driving. =) We have mostly been relaxing and watching the Olympics, but today we took them down to the Mukilteo waterfront. My husband is going to be doing recording for a full length album at a studio in Mukilteo, and the waterfront was right by there, so we hit both places to give them a tour. I didn't realize that today was actually the opening of the new waterfront remodeling...and it looks really beautiful! So if you have the opportunity, you should go hang out there. It was gorgeous and they have a whole playground there too now. I was imagining taking Jaxon there when he is a bit older. I bet he will love it. There were a ton of wind surfers there...and I am totally all up on wanting to try it after the baby is born (and I get back into shape...lol!). This evening we went to The Rock...which is a really cool pizza place (you should try it!). Anyway, I put up a few pics of the day...enjoy!
Rob is my husband and the love of my life for over 3 years now. He is a wonderful husband and devoted father. His passion is music, it's what he lives and breathes. He is the singer for the band OverKast, and his whole goal is to help those who are hurting and lost, find peace and hope through Jesus Christ. He has an amazing testimony of how the Lord has redeemed 25 years of "wandering". I love this man with all my heart, and hope to serve by his side as long as I live!
Kristin
I am a husband loving, baby nurturing, family adoring, friend making, picture taking, band promoting, home cleaning, Bible studying, ED kicking, music obsessing, Zumba dancing, yoga posing, piano playing, fast talking CHILD OF GOD! Need I say more?
Jaxon
Jaxon is our sweet, fun-loving 1-year-old and the love of our lives! We are absolutely head over heels for this little "Monkey". He has brough more joy to our lives than we could have imagined. Jaxon loves his Daddy and Mommy, his Gramma and Grandpa's, his Aunties and Uncles, & his many cousins. He loves to be the little "model" for his photog-crazed Mommy! He loves music, animals...especially his kitties (Raider and Hawk), yogurt, and his blankie!
